Derek Stephens is a law enforcement professional with over two decades of experience across patrol, investigations, SWAT operations, and specialized assignments.
His career includes service as a Master Police Officer, SWAT Operator, K9 Handler, and Detective, working complex investigations and high-risk operations in real-world environments.
In addition to operational experience, he has delivered over 1,000 hours of law enforcement instruction, training officers in decision-making, officer survival, and performance under pressure.
He is the creator of O.O.D.A. Loop-Based Officer Survival and has published multiple articles focused on how officers think, perceive, and act in critical moments.
Today, through Rally Point Training & Consulting, his focus is simple - preparing officers to recognize, decide, and act effectively before situations escalate.
